My Hero

Somebody I look up to in my everyday life is Mohammed Salah. He is a professional soccer player for Liverpool and Egypt. The first reason I look up to Salah is because of his soccer skills he is a winger just like me and he is also left footed like me. Salah is most known because of his close control skillful dribbles. When I grow up I would like to be as good as him and have the ability to shoot and dribble like him. Another reason is where he is from. Mohammed is from Cairo, Egypt which is where my dad is from. Whenever he speaks from where he came from I can relate to it because my dad is from there and I have also been there many times. My third and final reason is his personality. Salah is a very passionate person, to soccer and his family. He always is during what’s best for his family he also has a wife and kids. There is a video of him surprising a blind Liverpool fan and I thought it was very nice of him. So Salah is my hero because of his soccer skills, where he comes from, and his personality

My word for the Year

This year I am going to focus on soccer, I am good at soccer but there is always room for improvement. The first reason that I choose the word soccer for is because I have made a goal for myself to get to an academy level team. For example there is teams like LA Galaxy, LAFC and Strikers Fc. All of the clubs I stated have MLS Next teams, Which is the top division from my age group to all the way up to the professional level. My second reason that I choose soccer is that I always want to be at training as much as possible. My clubs trainings are very intense and I feel that every training that I go to I get better as a player, and we get better as a team. My third and final reason is that I want to be better than a lot of player so that when I get older I can try email teams for trails and colleges as well. Me and my brother are both soccer player we train together, recover together, etc. we both want to go pro and we have seen that the Saudi Arabian soccer league is paying great money plus a car and home. We have looked into it to see if there was a possibility that he could maybe go play professionally while I play in an academy there. In conclusion I choose the word soccer because I want to get on an academy team, I want to be at every trining my team has, And finally I want to try to go professional with my brother.

Rebound by: Kwame Alexander

This month I read rebound by Kwame Alexander

I really liked this book because I really like basketball and I like the amount of detail in the book about basketball I like that they’re really serious about basketball and so is their cousin Roxie. So if you really like basketball this book is definitely for you I like how the book is old and it shows how basketball was back then. So that’s why I really like this book.

My favorite character in the story was Roxie because there very good and I like there nice personality.

My favorite quote from this book was “ who knows I can’t play basketball who knows I don’t like basketball (anymore) throws the ball to me. Oh I wish she hadn’t done that…” I like this quote because he was very not confident and eventually gets confidence back again.

If I was Principal for a Day

If I was principal for a day there is a lot of things I would do. The first thing I would do is set up a school World Cup soccer tournament. There would be a lot of teams entered there would be a bracket it would be a single elimination tournament and the winners team would all get soccer balls. The second thing I would do is make the school lunch chick-fil-a. I think everyone likes chick-fil-a a lot of people would be getting school lunch and if they don’t like chick-fil-a they can have alternative options. Another thing I would do if I was principal is give less school work and make the teachers give students free days. This would be a good thing because if students are feeling overwhelmed they can have a free day and still go to school instead of staying home. Another thing I would do as principal is build the whole school inside. There would be a lot of classrooms a big gym cafeteria and etc. the 5th and final thing I would do is instead of having electives you could either do a sport at school for any 2 periods you choose. There would be all types of sports there would be fields or courts for the sports and there will be a lot of them. This would be a good thing to add because students could be active and it is good to be active everyday. Students could also choose electives instead of a sport to do at any period of the day that they want. So in conclusion if I was principal for a day I would make a World Cup soccer tournament, put chick-fil-a as school lunch, make the school indoor and have a big gym and classrooms etc. give students free days, and add sports classes. This is what I would do if I was principal of the school.

The Leafy Pigeon

One early morning I woke went down to the nest for a nice breakfast. I had a sandwich with seeds and jam in it. After my breakfast I went on a morning fly which I always do. But this time a leaf fell on my face and because of the jam that got on my face the leaf stuck to my face. I couldn’t see where I was flying I felt my self getting lower and lower until eventually I hit the roof of a house. I felt the tiles stacked on each other as I kept walking up the roof until I finally got to the peak of the roof. I still couldn’t see anything and when I tried to shake off the leaf it stayed on still. So I tried flying again to see if the wind would get it off it was off my face for a split second then went back on my face I kept on flying strait and a few times it came off my face for a second but one of those times I saw a pool so I landed in the pool dipped my face in the pool and it finally came of and I could finally see again.

What I am Thankful For

Thanksgiving is around the corner and there are many things I’m great full for but here are three things I am thankful for. The first thing I am thankful for is Family, I am very thankful for my family. First of all my mom, she brings me to school almost everyday and to practice almost everyday. My dad is always here for me and everyone in my family but he wants the best for me in anything I do. My brother pushes me everyday to be the best at soccer everyday I go to the field and practice with him, He just wants the best for me in everything. My sister even though she is in college she calls me a lot and genuinely cares for me a lot and when she’s around she will always spend a lot of time with me. The second thing I’m grateful for is soccer, soccer is my favorite thing ever everyday I’m trying to get better and make it pro and I know that my family is with me every step of the way. Soccer is like my emotional support if I’m felling down soccer helps me fell much better I also like seeing my teammates. The third thing I’m thankful for is my friends my friends make me happy and I know I always have someone or some people to hang out with or play with. At school seeing all my friends and having them in my classes is really fun. They also always have my back and I always have there no matter what. So these are the three things I’m thankful for.

Rad Reading October

The Crossover by: Kwame Alexander

This month I read The Crossover by: Kwame Alexander This book is about two twin brothers who play basketball and there father was a famous basketball player who played in Italy his career came to an end after he got injured and didn’t go to a doctor for surgery. The twins played on the same team called the the wildcats. They are trying to win a county championship before something happens to their dad.

I liked this book because it is about basketball and I liked how I genuinely really liked the book and always wanted to read it and the plot twist was really good.

My favorite character in the book was Josh Bell also known as Filthy I liked him because of his style of play when he’s playing basketball and I also like his chill personality.

My favorite quote in the book is “In this game of life your family is the court and the ball is your heart. No matter how good you are, no matter how down you get always leave your heart on the court. I really like this quote because it shows multiple things it shows how important family is and it shows determination

I’ve Been Granted Three Wishes!

If I was granted three wishes it would be hard to choose what to use them on but these are my three wishes. My first wish would be to win a Ballon’Dor. The Ballon’Dor is a trophy given to the best soccer player that year. The Ballon’Dor ceremony was on Monday and the trophy was given to Lionel Messi for his 8th best player of the year award which is the most ever won by one player. I would want to win this trophy because it is one of the best individual trophy’s to win and I would savor it forever. For my second wish I would ask for an infinite amount of money. I would ask for an infinite amount of money I could give to the homeless and people in need, I could also buy all the necessities I could buy fancy cars, big houses, a bunch of my favorite shoes and etc. For my third and final wish I would wish that all my family will always be in good health. I would want everyone to have good health because I love my family and don’t want them to die to a sickness or disease so that is why I would ask for good health for all my family. I’ve I was granted three wishes I would win a Ballon’Dor, have infinite money, and have good health for my family.

Trade places with a famous person

If I could change places with anyone in the world I would change places with Travis Scott. Travis Scott is a famous rapper born in Houston, Texas. I would trade places with Travis because I really like his music and would want to perform a concert, all of Travis’s concerts look really fun and hype he performs a lot of songs and the atmosphere looks insane. So this is one reason why I would trade places with him. Another reason I would swap places with Travis is that he has a lot of money and a huge house. There would be a lot of things I could do with the money he has I could buy cars, buy clothes, buy chains/jewelry, and can also give to the homeless or charity. My third and final reason I would trade places with him is that his wife is Kylie Jenner and he has a daughter names Stormi. I would like to meet them and see what it is like to have a kid and wife. These are my three reasons why I would trade places with Travis Scott because of his music, wealth, and wife and daughter.

My Perfect day

If I could do anything for a day with anyone this is what I would do. Firstly I would wake up at 9 am with my friends Christian and Jackson from Chicago who I haven’t seen since the begging of summer. The first thing we would do after we all woke up is eat breakfast we would have eggs Benedict specifically from Stacks. After we ate we would all go to the soccer fields to train together and practice our dribbling shooting passing and defending that session would be about 1:30 minutes to two hours. After we finished our session we would go back home shower and get dressed for a concert called Rolling Loud, we would have floor seats and be really close to the artists/ rappers performing. There is usually about 10-15 rappers a day and it is throughout the whole weekend. This would be very fun because we would see our favorite rappers and even more as well and we would have a great time. After the concert we would get food from Canes and we would go home and eat and watch some YouTube then we would go ride around on our e-bikes at approximately 1in the morning then we would come home and sleep.
