This week was another week on practicing the motion of doing my around the world. There were no struggles that I had this week, I practiced the motion of the around the world for a good amount of time. I can tell that I have made so much progress so far and I am getting close to actually doing the around the world. I didn’t expect it to be so hard and especially because I want to be able to do it consistently. I am going to start just doing the around the world the whole entire time and be very focused. I will be doing the around the world at school, practice, and even at home. But I’m going to need to figure out a way to incorporate time to work on my poster board during class which will be hard. So that is my plan to finish my 20% which is doing an around the world.

Hi this is my second week of learning how to do around the world with a soccer ball. There were not many struggles this week except that most of the time I was shooting around with my friends who are also doing sports related things, which was my fault. But with the time I had to juggle I was learning the motions so most of the time I was dropping the ball on my foot and trying to get around the ball. Then I went into juggling and combing it with the motion. I got a couple of good attempts but nothing that close but it was good practice for learning the motion while juggling. I also am recording my self juggling to put in my presentation to see my progress every week. Next week I will be working on the motion of the around the world but I will be much more focused on my juggling instead of shooting instead.

Today I will tell where my favorite room is. This room surprisingly not in my house but at my uncle’s house. My favorite room in the house is the basement, they live in Illinois which is where it is common to have a basement. The first reason why this is my favorite room is because when you walk down the stairs is a turf soccer field. Obviously it is not a huge soccer field but it is big enough. We play all types of games like 2v2s or even 1v1s. We even creat games one of them is called the shootings game. Where you shoot from inside of your box at the other person’s goal and try to score you can also get a rebound and go 1 on 1 with the other person so this is the first reason this is my favorite room. The second reason this is my favorite room because of the golf simulator. Usually it is just me and my cousin playing on it, we simulate playing holes and were pretty even skills wise so it is always fun playing against each other. The third and final reason it is my favorite room is because of the ping pong table, pop-a-shot, and the couch down there. Everyone plays ping pong and the pop-a-shot which not as much as them play but it is fun to play both of them. So in conclusion my favorite room is the basement at my uncle’s house because of the soccer field that we always play on, the golf simulator where me and my cousin play against each other. And the ping pong table where we all play at, the pop-a-shot which we see who makes the most shots in basketball, and the couch when we need a break from these activity’s.

If I could invite three people to perform at a concert here are the three people I would invite. First I will tell you about where we would perform, we would perform at rolling loud which is one of the biggest rap music festivals in the world. There would be so many fans there and the crowd would be extremely loud. The first person I would invite would be Travis Scott because he is the best live performer. When he performed he is so hyper and crazy to watch. When I went to his concert it was insane. The next guest I would invite to my concert would be Playboy Carti also know as just Carti I would invite him because he is also one of the most hype performers and when I went to the Travis Scott concert Travis brought out Carti so I would know that they would perform well together. He also features on a lot of Travis Scott songs including “Fe!n” which is one of the most hype and crazy songs it is also one of the most popular songs in the world. The third and final guest I would invite to my concert would be Drake. Drake has a lot of chemistry performing with Travis and Carti. Drake and Travis also have one of the most streamed songs of all time called “Sicko Mode” I think almost everyone who listens to rap knows the lyrics to that song and changed the rap industry. Drake is also arguably the best artist of all time and all of his songs are classics. He has a lot of songs with Travis including Meltdown, Fair Trade, etc. but my favorite song with them is called “Company”. So in conclusion if I were to host a concert at rolling loud and could invite any three guests I would Invite Travis Scott, Playboy Carti, and Drake.

My name is Rocky and for my 20% project Im learning how to do an around the world while juggling with a soccer ball. I choose to work on this project because I want to get better at juggling as much as possible and learn to consistently do tricks while juggling. My mentor will be my brother because he is good at juggling and can do the trick I’m trying to do. This week I was mastering just regular juggling just to get consistent at it. I also recorded my self juggling so I can include it in my presentation. Today there were little struggles because I always practice juggling at home and at practice but I am still getting better so it was a bit hard. I also watched videos on seeing the motion of learning to do the around the world. Next week I am going to be working getting the motion down without the ball then with the ball. If I could invite three people in the world to dinner this is who I would choose. First of all I will tell you where we eat. I would bring all of my guests to one of my favorite places Fogo De Chao. A Brazilian steak house with the best meats in my opinion. We would do an all you could eat where servers walk around with all different cuts of meat which are very delicious. My first guest I would invite would be Travis Scott. Travis is a very famous artist and rapper I would invite him to my table because he is a great person with great personality and humor. He is somebody that I look up to, I would probably ask if he could do a performance for me. The next person I would invite to my table would be Christiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is one of the greatest soccer players of all time and he is know to have the best mentality and work rates. I would love to invite him to my table so I can ask him questions of how I can become the best soccer player I can be and learn the ways that professionals train, think mentally, what they eat and all of there routines. The third and final person I would invite to my table would be Lionel Messi even though I have already brought one of the best players of all time Christiano Ronaldo I would love to bring Lionel Messi because I think he is the best soccer player of all time and is very influential to me in my life. I look up to him and want to be as good as him one day. I think he would have great stories to tell and I would ask him about how it was playing for Barcelona which is my favorite team of all time. I would also ask him why he decided to play in the MLS for Inter Maimi instead of playing for Barcelona again. So in conclusion the three people I would invite to my table at Fogo De Chao would be Travis Scott, Christiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi.

This month I continued reading the book Gym Candy by: Mike Lupica And I am on page 230. This is an amazing book about a football player in high school whose father was a football star Mick is on the senior team and is a very good player. But I think he choose a very bad decision when he goes on steroids because he is a much much much better player but now the coaches are questioning him will he get caught and never play football again or not. My favorite character in the book is Drew who is the quarterback and is Micks best friend. He is a good person and great friend and always has his back. My favorite quote in the book is “In the locker room afterward, guys pounded me on the back, hollering that I was all-world. I was smiling so hard…” this is my favorite quote because it was right after his best game and his confidence was through the roof.

My dream job is to be a soccer player and I wanted to be one for my whole life. My first reason is that I love soccer. Soccer is my favorite thing in life and I want to be playing soccer for as long as I could. My second reason is that there is a lot of money involved. In soccer you get payed a lot of money on the weekly notice in different countries and divisions they wages are different but in almost every top division the wages are very good. My third and final reason is because of the fans. I would absolutely love for 60,000 fans to be chanting for me and looking up to me and wearing my jersey. Those are my three reasons I want to be a professional soccer player.

This month I continued reading the book Gym Candy by Carl Deuker I am now almost half way finished and I will tell you what has happened so far. The plot of the story is about a kid who is now 16 who is a running back in high school and is fighting for his spot on the varsity team there is a running back named Drager that is the starting running back for the team both of the running backs get into a talking argument and something very bad happens. I am really liking this book because there is always action and entertainment going on. Mick is my favorite character because even though he is pretty sure he’s not going to play because he was a freshman we would not play but he kept on striving hard and it payed off because he was the special teams captain. My favorite quote from this book is “ I ended up practicing every single day, just like my dad wanted, but I wasn’t doing it because I thought I had a chance to start, I was because I didn’t know how else to play.” This quote shows his great mentality and no matter what he is willing to always keep playing.

This is my abandoned tropical island. Let me explained how I got here I was driving my boat around and went to explore this tropical island. So when I got =on the island there was people there they all ran on to the boat threw me off and took my boat and left. So that explains how I got here. My daily routine is to wake up in the morning and the first thing I do is relax to the nice ocean sound. After that I am usually hungry so I go to the coconut tree use a big branch to knock some of them off. After I knock a few down I put a hole in the coconut and have some very fresh coconut water. I put a flag on the island using some wood and washed up cloth to symbolize that the island is know mine or is any boats drive by they can see the flag and maybe come help me. There is a lot of wild life on the island there is lots of spiders and all types of insects, one time I even saw a monkey! I am making a boat made of wood and it’s held together by clay so I can sail home. Finally I would get on to my boat and sail away.
